Librije's Hotel and Librije's Zusje exist 5 years! An anniversary that we would like to celebrate with you. During this sunniest season of the year we offer  you a special arrangement, in which you will enjoy a spectacular culinary menu in Restaurant Librije's Zusje followed by a luxurious stay in Librije’s Hotel.

Upon arrival we will welcome you at Librije’s Hotel with drinks and amuses. For dinner we have a table reserved for you in Librije's Zusje, where we serve a five-course menu including aperitif, wines, mineral water and coffee / tea. You will stay in one of our charming Royale Rooms and the next morning you will enjoy our unique summer breakfast.

Philosophy

Passion, that is Jonnie and Thérèse Boer’s motto and that’s what it’s all about at the Librije companies. Passion for cooking, wines, gastronomy and all of this made available with a contemporary, modern approach and an aversion to conventions and entrenched customs. Librije’s Hotel is the smallest five-star hotel in the Netherlands and offers its guests what Jonnie en Thérèse describe as the “ultimate hotel experience”. Butler service, a new Mercedes Benz S 400 HYBRID as hotel taxi at the door, several sloops at the guests’ disposal, and the highest standards of hospitality are included.

Librije's Hotel

In 2006 the Municipality of Zwolle approached Jonnie en Thérèse with regard to the catering service for the new theatre, De Spiegel, which was to be built. Additionally they could acquire what used to be the prison of Zwolle, a monumental building from the beginning of the eighteenth century. In that way, their long cherished dream of an own hotel could come true. For over five years plans were made, and the building was renovated and restored. Librije’s Hotel was festively opened on May 25, 2008.
